La station au sol est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une application logicielle, fonctionnant sur un ordinateur au sol, qui communique avec votre drone par t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9trie sans fil. Elle affiche des donn\u00e9es en temps r\u00e9el sur les performances et la position du drone et peut servir de \"cockpit virtuel\", affichant un grand nombre d'instruments identiques \u00e0 ceux dont vous disposeriez si vous \u00e9tiez aux commandes d'un v\u00e9ritable avion. Un GCS peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour contr\u00f4ler un drone en vol, en t\u00e9l\u00e9chargeant de nouvelles commandes de mission et en d\u00e9finissant des param\u00e8tres. La station de contr\u00f4le au sol portable (GCS) est une solution flexible et universelle pour contr\u00f4ler les v\u00e9hicules sans pilote et les charges utiles. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'utilisation d'un compartiment \u00e9lectronique modulaire (MEC) unique, il est possible d'installer rapidement du mat\u00e9riel sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 une application. Cette flexibilit\u00e9 permet au GCS d'\u00eatre configur\u00e9 pour contr\u00f4ler des v\u00e9hicules a\u00e9riens sans pilote (UAV), des robots terrestres, des robots de d\u00e9minage, des v\u00e9hicules t\u00e9l\u00e9command\u00e9s (ROV) et d'autres dispositifs robotiques.
